Roles & Responsibilities
Site Execution
- Supervise installation of electrical systems including HT/LT panels, transformers, cable laying, cable trays, lighting systems, earthing, and grounding.
- Ensure work is carried out according to approved drawings, BOQ, and project specifications.
- Monitor daily site activities and ensure project timelines are met.
Project Coordination
- Coordinate with MEP teams to ensure smooth execution of electrical works.
- Attend project meetings and provide progress updates to the project manager.
- Coordinate with contractors, vendors, and subcontractors.
Testing & Commissioning
- Supervise testing and commissioning of electrical systems including panels, transformers, cables, and protection systems.
- Ensure all installations comply with IS standards and electrical safety regulations.
Quality Control
- Ensure proper installation as per approved shop drawings and quality standards.
- Conduct inspections and maintain QA/QC documentation.
Material & Documentation
- Prepare material requisitions and track material usage.
- Verify delivered materials with specifications and BOQ.
- Maintain daily progress reports and site documentation.
Safety Compliance
- Ensure implementation of electrical safety procedures and site safety guidelines.
- Identify risks and ensure safe working practices at site.
Required Skills
- Knowledge of electrical systems and installations
- Ability to read and interpret electrical drawings and schematics
- Knowledge of HT/LT systems, cable routing, and earthing
- Familiarity with AutoCAD and MS Office
- Strong problem-solving and coordination skills
Qualification
- Diploma / B.E / B.Tech in Electrical Engineering
Experience
- Minimum 5 years of experience in Electrical Site Execution / EPC / Construction projects
