Job Summary
We are looking for a proactive and organized Sales Coordinator to support the sales team in managing customer inquiries, preparing quotations, processing orders, coordinating deliveries, and maintaining customer relationships. The ideal candidate should have strong communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to coordinate effectively between customers, sales, production, dispatch, and accounts teams.
Key ResponsibilitiesSales Support
- Prepare and send quotations, proposals, and price lists to customers.
- Follow up with customers regarding quotations and orders.
- Assist the sales team in achieving sales targets.
- Maintain records of inquiries, quotations, and orders.
Order Processing & Coordination
- Receive and process customer purchase orders.
- Coordinate with production and dispatch teams to ensure timely delivery.
- Track order status and update customers regularly.
- Resolve order-related issues and customer concerns.
Customer Relationship Management
- Handle customer inquiries via phone, email, and WhatsApp.
- Maintain strong relationships with existing customers.
- Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction through prompt support.
- Collect customer feedback and share it with management.
Documentation & Reporting
- Maintain customer databases and sales records.
- Generate daily, weekly, and monthly sales reports.
- Update CRM and ERP systems with customer and order information.
- Manage sales-related documentation and filing.
Coordination with Internal Departments
- Work closely with Production, Dispatch, Accounts, and Procurement teams.
- Coordinate payment follow-ups with customers and accounts department.
- Support inventory planning by sharing sales forecasts and order requirements.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Commerce, Marketing, or a related field.
- 1–3 years of experience in sales coordination, customer service, or sales support.
- Freshers with strong communication and organizational skills may also apply.
Skills Required
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Strong MS Excel, Word, and PowerPoint skills.
- Knowledge of CRM/ERP software is preferred.
- Good organizational and multitasking abilities.
- Strong follow-up and coordination skills.
- Attention to detail and problem-solving ability.
Preferred Experience (Manufacturing Industry)
- Experience in plastics, water tanks, pipes, fittings, or manufacturing industries will be an advantage.
- Familiarity with order processing, dispatch coordination, and dealer/customer management.
