About the Role
Amity University Patna invites applications from dynamic, research-oriented and academically accomplished professionals for the position of Assistant Professor in Computer Science & Information Technology. The selected candidate will contribute to teaching, research, student mentoring, academic administration and institutional development.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver high-quality undergraduate and postgraduate courses in Computer Science, Information Technology and allied areas.
- Prepare and deliver lectures, tutorials, laboratory sessions and practical-oriented learning activities.
- Develop and update course content, curriculum and teaching methodologies in line with emerging technologies and industry requirements.
- Conduct high-quality research and publish papers in reputed Scopus/SCI/UGC-recognized journals and conferences.
- Guide student projects, dissertations, internships and research activities.
- Mentor students and support their academic, professional and career development.
- Participate in seminars, workshops, FDPs, conferences and other academic activities.
- Develop industry collaborations, consultancy opportunities and sponsored research projects.
- Contribute to departmental academic planning, accreditation, documentation and institutional initiatives.
- Encourage technology-enabled, experiential and innovative teaching-learning practices.

Eligibility Criteria

- Excellent communication, presentation, mentoring and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to integrate emerging technologies and innovative pedagogical approaches into teaching.
