Job Summary
We are looking for a dedicated Casualty / Emergency Duty Doctor to provide immediate medical care to patients presenting to the Emergency Department. The ideal candidate should be capable of handling emergency cases, stabilizing critically ill patients, and coordinating with specialists to ensure timely and effective treatment.
Key Responsibilities
- Assess, diagnose, and manage emergency and casualty patients.
- Provide immediate medical treatment and stabilize critically ill patients.
- Perform emergency procedures, including CPR, airway management, suturing, wound care, and trauma management.
- Coordinate with consultants for admissions, referrals, and critical care management.
- Monitor patients until admission, transfer, or discharge.
- Respond promptly to Code Blue and other medical emergencies within the hospital.
- Maintain accurate patient records and emergency documentation.
- Ensure compliance with NABH standards, infection control protocols, and hospital policies.
- Counsel patients and attendants regarding treatment plans and follow-up care.
Qualifications
- MBBS or BHMS from a recognized institution.
- Valid Registration with the respective Medical Council.
- BLS and ACLS certification will be an added advantage.
- Experience in Emergency Medicine, Casualty, ICU, or Critical Care is preferred.
