Job Summary
We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Accounts Officer to manage the company's day-to-day accounting operations, financial records, statutory compliance, and reporting activities. The ideal candidate should have strong accounting knowledge, good analytical skills, and proficiency in accounting software.
Key Responsibilities
- Maintain accurate accounting records and books of accounts.
- Handle accounts payable and accounts receivable functions.
- Prepare and process invoices, payment vouchers, and journal entries.
- Perform bank reconciliations and monitor cash flow.
- Manage GST, TDS, and other statutory compliance requirements.
- Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports.
- Assist in budget preparation and financial planning activities.
- Coordinate with auditors, banks, and government authorities as required.
- Monitor outstanding receivables and follow up on collections.
- Verify purchase bills, expense claims, and supporting documents.
- Maintain fixed asset records and inventory-related accounting entries.
- Ensure compliance with company policies and accounting standards.
- Support payroll processing and employee reimbursements.
- Prepare MIS reports and provide financial information to management.
- Perform any other accounting and finance-related duties assigned by management.
Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree in Commerce (B.Com), Finance, Accounting, or related field.
- 3–5 years of experience in accounting and finance.
- Knowledge of GST, TDS, Income Tax, and statutory compliance.
- Proficiency in Tally, ERP software, and Microsoft Excel.
- Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in a manufacturing industry will be an added advantage.
- Knowledge of inventory accounting and cost accounting.
