Job Description
We are looking for an experienced Sales Officer to drive sales and expand market presence in the assigned territory. The role involves managing distributors, developing retail coverage, achieving sales targets, and strengthening relationships with trade partners.
Key Responsibilities
- Achieve monthly and annual sales targets in the assigned territory.
- Appoint, manage, and support distributors to ensure business growth.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with retailers and channel partners.
- Increase product availability, visibility, and market penetration.
- Identify new business opportunities and expand the customer base.
- Monitor competitor activities and market trends.
- Ensure timely collection of payments and maintain healthy distributor operations.
- Plan and execute sales promotions and market development activities.
- Prepare daily sales reports and provide regular market feedback.
- Coordinate with internal teams to ensure smooth order processing and product availability.
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience in FMCG sales.
- Experience in the tea, detergent, or spices industry is preferred.
- Strong knowledge of distributor management, retail sales, and market development.
- Good communication, negotiation, and relationship management skills.
- Ability to work independently and achieve sales targets.
- Valid driving license and willingness to travel within the assigned territory.
