Job Summary
We are looking for an experienced Business Development Manager (Vertical) with a strong background in the System Integration (SI) or Master System Integration (MSI) industry. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing the complete business development lifecycle, from lead generation and tender participation to order closure and post-deployment support.
Key Responsibilities
- Handle complete pre-tender and post-tender activities.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with System Integrators (SIs), Partners, and End Users.
- Drive business from lead generation, POC, specification, budgeting, tender bidding, post-bid queries, order closure, and project execution.
- Search and evaluate RFQs/tenders from government and private tender portals.
- Analyze eligibility criteria, commercial terms, technical specifications, and tender documents.
- Prepare pre-bid queries and represent the company in pre-bid meetings.
- Coordinate with OEMs for quotations, technical datasheets, negotiations, and compliance.
- Prepare commercial proposals, technical documentation, and tender submissions.
- Coordinate with internal teams for product customization, material availability, and service escalations.
- Track tender evaluation, respond to post-bid queries, and follow up until order finalization.
- Travel extensively across assigned regions for customer, SI, and partner meetings.
- Monitor market trends, competitor pricing, and regional business opportunities.
Required Skills
- 5+ years of experience in Business Development, Tender Management, or Sales in the SI/MSI industry.
- Strong knowledge of government and enterprise tendering processes.
- Excellent understanding of technical and commercial bid preparation.
- Experience in OEM coordination and technical compliance analysis.
- Strong negotiation, communication, and relationship management skills.
- Willingness to travel frequently across India.
Preferred Industry: CCTV, Networking, IT Infrastructure, ELV, Security Surveillance, or System Integration.
