We are looking for an MEP Engineer to oversee the day-to-day operation & maintenance of all MEP systems in a commercial mall. The candidate will ensure 100% uptime of utilities, regulatory compliance, energy efficiency, and smooth tenant operations.
Key Responsibilities
- Daily monitoring of HVAC, AHUs, Pumps, DG Sets, Transformers, HT/LT Panels, Fire Fighting, STP, WTP, BMS. Preventive, Predictive & Breakdown maintenance planning and execution. Ensure minimum downtime and quick response to tenant complaints.
- Monitor energy consumption and implement energy saving initiatives. Maintain logs for power, water, diesel, and utility cost tracking. Optimize HVAC and lighting schedules for mall operations.
- Maintain AMC contracts and coordinate with vendors.
- Handle tenant MEP fit-out approvals and inspections. Respond to tenant service requests and ensure SLA adherence. Conduct joint inspections for handover/takeover of spaces.
- Maintain JMR, logbooks, service reports, and work orders. Prepare monthly reports on breakdowns, energy, Opex, and capex needs. Coordinate with Facility Manager on budgeting and annual maintenance plans.
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Education: B.E/B.Tech/Diploma in Mechanical/Electrical Engineering.
- Experience: 3-6 years in MEP Operations of Commercial Malls, IT Parks, or Hospitals.
- Technical Knowledge: HVAC, Electrical, Plumbing, Fire Fighting, DG, BMS, STP.
- Software: Basic knowledge of AutoCAD, MS Office.
- Certifications: Electrical Supervisor License preferred.
- Soft Skills: Good communication, team handling, vendor management, problem-solving.
Pay: ₹40,000.00 - ₹50,000.00 per month
