As part of our expanding Language Academy, we are seeking a highly qualified German Language Trainer who can deliver comprehensive German language instruction from A1 to C2 in accordance with the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages (CEFR).
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver engaging, structured, and interactive German language training from A1 to C2 levels.
- Prepare students for internationally recognized examinations including Goethe-Zertifikat (A1–C2), TestDaF, DSH, Telc, ÖSD, and other German proficiency exams.
- Design lesson plans, study material, assignments, mock examinations, and assessments aligned with CEFR standards.
- Teach all four language competencies—Listening, Speaking, Reading, and Writing—along with grammar, pronunciation, vocabulary, and cultural understanding.
- Conduct both classroom and online sessions using modern teaching methodologies and digital learning tools.
- Assess student performance regularly and provide personalized feedback to improve learning outcomes.
- Maintain attendance records, academic progress reports, and student evaluations.
- Conduct speaking clubs, debate sessions, writing workshops, and exam-oriented practice sessions.
- Guide students preparing for higher education, employment, and migration opportunities in German-speaking countries.
- Contribute to curriculum development and continuously enhance teaching methodologies and learning resources.
- Act as a strong presenter and brand representative for Orbitwise in webinars, seminars, and promotional sessions.
- Conduct initial counselling over phone calls and Google Meet for warm leads, providing first-level consultation, understanding student goals, and guiding them toward the appropriate course or pathway.
- Support the admissions team in converting warm leads into enrollments through effective communication, presentation skills, and follow-ups.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in German Language, German Studies, Linguistics, Foreign Languages, Education, or a related field.
- Goethe-Zertifikat C2 (preferred) or an equivalent internationally recognized German language qualification demonstrating near-native proficiency.
- Minimum 3 years of experience teaching German language across multiple CEFR levels, preferably up to C2.
- Demonstrated success in preparing students for Goethe, TestDaF, DSH, Telc, or ÖSD examinations.
- Excellent command of German and English; Hindi proficiency is an added advantage.
- Strong understanding of CEFR-based curriculum and examination frameworks.
- Proficiency with online teaching platforms and digital classroom technologies.
- Confident communication and presentation skills, with the ability to engage students and parents effectively during counselling sessions.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience studying, working, or living in Germany or another German-speaking country.
- Experience mentoring students for university admissions or professional pathways in Germany.
- Ability to create original teaching content and assessment materials.
- Strong communication, presentation, and classroom management skills.
- Experience in student counselling, lead handling, or educational consulting will be an added advantage.

Compensation
Compensation will be based on qualifications, certifications, teaching experience, and demonstrated expertise in delivering German language instruction up to the C2 level.
