The Car Exchange Evaluator is responsible for inspecting and assessing customers' vehicles offered for exchange or trade-in. The role involves determining the fair market value of vehicles based on their condition, mileage, service history, accident records, and current market trends. The evaluator works closely with the sales team to ensure accurate valuations, smooth exchange transactions, and high customer satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct detailed inspections of vehicles, including exterior, interior, engine, chassis, and mechanical components.
- Identify previous repairs, accidental damage, repainting, and other structural or cosmetic issues.
- Assess vehicle documentation, including RC, insurance, service records, and ownership details.
- Determine the fair market value of vehicles using company guidelines and prevailing market conditions.
- Prepare detailed vehicle evaluation reports with photographs and recommendations.
- Coordinate with the sales team to provide competitive exchange quotations.
- Negotiate trade-in values with customers while adhering to company pricing policies.
- Maintain accurate records of all vehicle evaluations and transactions.
- Stay updated on market trends, used car pricing, and competitor valuations.
- Ensure compliance with company policies and legal requirements during vehicle exchanges.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree or Diploma in Automobile Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or any relevant field (preferred).
- 2–5 years of experience in used car evaluation, automobile inspection, or automotive sales.
- Strong knowledge of vehicle mechanics, body repairs, and market valuation.
- Ability to identify accident history, flood damage, repainting, and major mechanical defects.
- Good negotiation, communication, and customer relationship skills.

Pay: ₹21,100.00 - ₹35,000.00 per month
