About the Role We are seeking a Data Engineer/Architect with a strong background in Data Engineering, Business Intelligence, and Data Architecture to join our team. The role involves working on the Azure Data Platform and collaborating with the team to provide technical direction. Success in this role will be measured by the ability to analyze and understand finalized architecture and ensure alignment with architectural standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Analyze and understand the finalized architecture to ensure alignment with project goals.
- Ensure alignment with architectural standards and provide technical direction to the team.
- Collaborate with the Architect in technical discussions to drive project forward.
- Offer technical consultation and guidance to team members to enhance skills.
- Act as a reviewer and technical representative for project deliverables to maintain quality.
- Provide technical expertise to the team to resolve complex issues.
Requirements
- Develop and maintain expertise with the Azure Data Platform, including medallion architecture.
- Utilize strong proficiency in Azure Data Lake and Azure Fabric to drive project success.
- Apply in-depth knowledge of Fabric architecture principles to design and implement solutions.
- Leverage advanced SQL skills with proven performance tuning experience to optimize data workflows.
- Employ expertise in data modeling methodologies (e.g., Data Vault) to design and implement data models.
- Utilize proficiency in Power BI for reporting and visualization to create interactive dashboards.
- Apply solid understanding of REST APIs and modern data integration patterns to integrate data from various sources.
- Implement CI/CD pipelines for data workflows to automate and streamline processes.
