The Service Manager is responsible for overseeing the complete operations of the automobile service department, ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction, workshop productivity, and service quality. The role includes managing service staff, monitoring daily workshop activities, handling customer concerns, and achieving service revenue targets while maintaining company standards and operational efficiency.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage overall service workshop operations efficiently
- Ensure customer satisfaction through quality service and timely delivery
- Monitor daily service activities, job allocation, and productivity of technicians
- Handle customer complaints and provide effective resolutions
- Achieve service revenue targets and improve workshop profitability
- Maintain service quality standards as per company guidelines
- Coordinate with spare parts and warranty departments for smooth operations
- Ensure proper maintenance of tools, equipment, and workshop safety standards
Qualification:
- Diploma / Degree in Automobile Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or any relevant field
Experience:
- Minimum 2–8 years of experience in the automobile service industry
