Beanlore is a specialty coffee café focused on delivering exceptional coffee, quality food, and outstanding customer experiences. We are looking for an experienced and passionate Café Manager who can lead daily operations, develop a high-performing team, and ensure excellent service standards.
Position Summary
The Café Manager will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of café operations, including team management, customer service, inventory control, sales performance, food safety compliance, and overall profitability. The ideal candidate is a hands-on leader with strong experience in the café industry and a proven track record of managing teams and operations effectively.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage day-to-day café operations to ensure smooth and efficient service.
- Lead, train, motivate, and supervise café staff.
- Maintain high standards of customer service and guest satisfaction.
- Monitor sales performance and implement strategies to improve revenue.
- Manage inventory, stock ordering, vendor coordination, and cost control.
- Ensure compliance with food safety, hygiene, and operational standards.
- Handle customer feedback and resolve service-related issues promptly.
- Create staff schedules and manage attendance and productivity.
- Monitor cash handling, billing, daily reports, and operational records.
- Maintain café presentation, cleanliness, and brand standards.
- Support recruitment, onboarding, and performance management of team members.
Candidate RequirementsMandatory Qualifications
- Minimum 5 years of experience in café operations, coffee shops, or hospitality businesses.
- Minimum 2 years of experience as a Café Manager, Restaurant Manager, or similar leadership role.
- Strong understanding of café operations, inventory management, and customer service.
- Experience managing teams and driving operational excellence.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle operational challenges effectively.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in specialty coffee cafés or premium hospitality brands.
- Knowledge of coffee preparation methods and café workflows.
- Familiarity with POS systems and basic reporting tools.
- Strong leadership, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
