We are seeking a dynamic and result-oriented Student Counsellor for our IT Training Institute. The candidate will be responsible for guiding students about IT courses such as Software Development, Tally, Data Science, Digital Marketing, Programming, and other technical programs, converting enquiries into admissions, and achieving monthly enrollment targets.
Key Responsibilities:
- Handle walk-in, phone, and online enquiries related to IT courses.
- Counsel students and job seekers on career opportunities in IT fields.
- Explain course curriculum, duration, fees structure, placements, and certifications.
- Convert leads into admissions and achieve monthly targets.
- Follow up with prospective students through calls, WhatsApp, and email.
- Maintain proper records of enquiries and admissions.
- Coordinate with trainers regarding batch timings and schedules.
- Support students during admission and documentation process.
- Participate in marketing campaigns, seminars, and education fairs.
Required Skills:
- Excellent communication skills (Tamil & English mandatory)
- Strong convincing and sales skills
- Target-driven mindset
- Knowledge of CRM or admission management systems (preferred)
- Professional and confident personality
Experience:
- 2 to 5 years experience in IT Training / EdTech / Education Counselling
- Proven admission conversion experience preferred
