Dr. John Arthur Ortho Hospital, a leading speciality orthopaedic centre in Avadi, is seeking committed and capable Medical Officers to support our team during night shifts. This is an excellent opportunity for qualified doctors and postgraduate students to gain hands-on experience in orthopaedic and trauma care in a supportive clinical environment.
Position: Night Duty Medical Officer
Qualifications:
- MBBS (Registered)
- D.Ortho / DNB Ortho / Other Diploma (completed or pursuing)
- PG Ortho/Others Students (Part-time/Resident)
Roles & Responsibilities:
- Attend to orthopaedic emergencies and in-patient care during night shift
- Conduct patient assessments and initiate management under the guidance of consultants
- Monitor post-operative patients and maintain clinical documentation
- Coordinate with nursing and paramedical staff for timely interventions
- Ensure proper handover of cases at shift end
Skills Required:
- Clinical confidence in orthopaedic examination and basic procedures
- Good judgement in emergency situations
- Communication and teamwork skills
- Willingness to learn and adapt in a high-paced hospital setting
Shift Timings:
- Night Shift: Flexible schedules available
