Job Summary
We are looking for a creative and detail-oriented Post Production (Video Editor) to join our media production team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing the complete post-production process, including video editing, colour correction, sound design, motion graphics, and final content delivery. The candidate should possess strong storytelling abilities, technical expertise (Adobe Premiere Pro, Adobe After Effects, DaVinci Resolve, Final Cut Pro), and the ability to transform raw footage into engaging, high-quality visual content.
This role requires close collaboration with creative producers, cinematographers, and the production team to ensure projects are delivered on time while maintaining the highest creative and technical standards.
Key Responsibilities – Post Production Head (Video Editing)
1. Post-Production Leadership
- Lead and oversee the entire post-production department, ensuring the timely delivery of high-quality video content.
- Manage and mentor a team of video editors, motion graphic designers, and post-production staff, complete the works in Dead lines
- Allocate projects, monitor workloads, and ensure efficient resource utilization.
2. Video Editing & Quality Control
- Review and approve final video edits before client delivery or publishing.
- Ensure consistency in storytelling, visual quality, pacing, audio, and brand standards.
- Maintain high creative and technical standards across all productions.
3. Workflow & Project Management
- Plan and manage post-production schedules to ensure projects are completed within deadlines.
- Coordinate with Production Heads, Creative Producers, Script Writers, and Camera Teams for smooth project execution.
- Monitor project progress and resolve workflow bottlenecks.
4. Team Management & Development
- Train, mentor, and evaluate the performance of video editors and post-production staff.
- Conduct regular feedback sessions to improve team productivity and creativity.
- Foster a collaborative and innovative work environment.
5. Client & Stakeholder Coordination
- Collaborate with clients, creative teams, and internal stakeholders to understand project requirements.
- Present edits and incorporate client feedback while maintaining creative integrity.
- Ensure effective communication throughout the post-production process.
6. Technical Oversight
- Supervise video editing, colour grading, motion graphics, visual effects, sound design, and final rendering.
- Ensure all editing software, hardware, and storage systems are functioning efficiently.
- Stay updated with the latest post-production technologies and industry trends.
7. Resource & Asset Management
- Manage project files, media assets, backups, and archive systems.
- Oversee the maintenance and optimization of editing workstations and production equipment.
- Ensure proper file organization and version control.
8. Process Improvement
- Develop and implement efficient post-production workflows and standard operating procedures (SOPs).
- Identify opportunities to improve productivity, quality, and turnaround time.
- Introduce new tools, automation, and best practices to enhance the editing process.
9. Budget & Vendor Management
- Assist in managing post-production budgets, software licenses, and equipment procurement.
- Coordinate with freelancers, vendors, and external post-production partners when required.
- Monitor costs while maintaining production quality.
10. Compliance & Delivery
- Ensure all deliverables meet technical specifications and client requirements.
- Maintain confidentiality and security of project files.
- Deliver projects on time while ensuring compliance with company quality standards.

Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree or Diploma in Film Production, Visual Communication, Multimedia, Mass Communication, or a related field.
- 5–7 years of professional experience in video editing or post-production.
- Strong portfolio showcasing editing, storytelling, and post-production skills.
Pay: ₹40,000.00 - ₹60,000.00 per month
