GST MANAGER – COMPLIANCE, LITIGATION & TEAM LEADERSHIP
Location: Madurai, Tamil Nadu
Experience: Minimum 5 Years in an Audit Firm / Auditor Office
ABOUT THE ROLE
* Lead GST and accounting compliance. Handle notices, assessments, and audits.
* Review accounts and teamwork. Manage 150 client accounts.
* Lead 1 Senior Accountant and 2 Junior Accountants.

ROLES & RESPONSIBILITIES, GST COMPLIANCE & LITIGATION
* Monitor and Review GST return filing.
* Handle GST notices, assessments, scrutiny cases, and departmental communications
* Monitor GST updates and ensure timely implementation.
* Assist clients during GST audits, assessments, and proceedings.
STATUTORY COMPLIANCE
* Review TDS return for filing. Monitor E-Way Bill and E-Invoice compliance requirements.
* Review accounting related compliances. Ensure all statutory deadlines are completed on time.
ACCOUNTS REVIEW & QUALITY CONTROL
* Review books of accounts and Verify reconciliations and GST workings.
* Identify compliance gaps. Maintain records and client files. Ensure quality and compliance standards.
CLIENT PORTFOLIO MANAGEMENT
* Manage 150 client accounts to Verify and maintain client records.
* Coordinate directly with clients and Monitor compliance and deadlines.
TEAM LEADERSHIP & ACCOUNTABILITY
* Lead 1 Senior Accountant and 2 Junior Accountants. Allocate and monitor work. Review and approve teamwork.
* Ensure timely client deliverables. Improve team productivity and processes.
TRAINING & KNOWLEDGE DEVELOPMENT
* Conduct team training sessions. Share GST and Tally updates.
* Develop team technical knowledge. Maintain compliance checklists and procedures.
REQUIRED SKILLS
* GST compliance and notice handling.
* Tally Prime and MS Excel. Accounting and bookkeeping knowledge.
* Leadership and team management. Client communication skills. Problem-solving and decision-making.
QUALIFICATIONS
* B. Com /M. Com / CA Inter / CMA Inter or equivalent.
* Minimum 5 years’ experience in an Audit Firm.
* Two-wheeler driving license mandatory. Own vehicle is preferred.
COMPENSATION & BENEFITS
* ₹25,000 Net Salary.
* Quarterly Performance Bonus. Diwali Bonus.
* Work From Home (5 days/month). Company Laptop.
WORK SCHEDULE
* 10:00 AM – 6:00 PM.
* 40-minute lunch break.
* 20-minute refreshment breaks.
LEAVE POLICY
* 1 Casual Leave per month. Unused CL can be encashed.

* Laptop provided for official work. Use company assets responsibly. Report any damage immediately.
