Role Description - Sampling Merchandiser [1 Position]:
- Assist in managing the end-to-end merchandising and production process from sampling to final delivery.
- Coordinate with design, pattern, embroidery, tailoring, and production teams to ensure smooth execution.
- Have a good understanding of patterns, garment construction, measurements, and fit.
- Coordinate and follow up on embroidery development, sampling, techniques, and execution.
- Maintain and update production sheets, order details, costing, inventory, and other merchandising data.
- Prepare and maintain Excel sheets, reports, trackers, and documentation.
- Coordinate with vendors and suppliers for sampling, materials, timelines, and production updates.
- Conduct basic quality checks during sampling and production to ensure measurements, finishing, embroidery, and construction meet required standards.
- Track production timelines and follow up with relevant teams to ensure orders are completed on schedule.
- Support the Merchandiser/Production Manager with daily coordination and reporting.
- Identify production issues and communicate them promptly to the concerned team.
Experience:
1-3 years in similar roles in Indian designer labels or in the luxury garment brands.
Education:
Bachelors Degree in Fashion preferably, else Masters in Fashion Management from a reputed institute
Desired Competencies:
- 1+ years of experience in apparel/fashion merchandising or production.
- Strong knowledge of patterns and garment construction.
- Good understanding of embroidery techniques and execution.
- Strong data management and documentation skills.
- Excellent working knowledge of MS Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and other MS Office tools.
- Basic understanding of quality control and garment finishing.
- Good communication and coordination skills.
- Strong follow-up and time-management abilities.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced fashion/production environment.
- Detail-oriented with a strong sense of responsibility.
- Preferred Candidate
- A candidate who is hands-on, organised, good with numbers and data, and comfortable coordinating with multiple teams and vendors. Experience in premium/luxury fashion, couture, or made-to-order garments will be an added advantage.

Pay: ₹26,030.53 - ₹45,000.00 per month
