Job Summary:
A mechanic is responsible for identifying mechanical problems, performing repairs, carrying out routine maintenance, and testing equipment or vehicles to ensure proper functioning.
Key Responsibilities
- Inspect vehicles or machinery to identify faults.
- Diagnose mechanical and electrical issues using tools and diagnostic equipment.
- Repair or replace damaged or worn-out parts.
- Perform routine maintenance such as oil changes, brake servicing, tire replacement, and engine tune-ups.
- Test repaired vehicles or equipment to verify performance.
- Maintain service records and repair reports.
- Follow workplace safety standards and manufacturer guidelines.
- Advise customers or supervisors on maintenance requirements.
Required Skills
- Strong mechanical aptitude.
- Knowledge of vehicle or machine systems.
- Ability to use hand tools, power tools, and diagnostic equipment.

Educational Qualifications
