- Plan and deliver engaging, age-appropriate lessons in reading, writing, math, and basic science.
- Create a warm, supportive, and structured classroom environment.
- Assess student progress using classwork, observations, and simple assessments.
- Provide individualized support to help students develop foundational academic and social skills.
- Communicate regularly with parents about student growth and classroom activities.
- Maintain classroom organization, safety, and behaviour expectations.
- Incorporate play-based and hands-on learning activities.
- Collaborate with other teachers and staff to support student success.
- Prepare and update lesson plans, report cards, and student records.
- Participate in school events, meetings, and professional development.
