We are seeking an experienced Visual Impairment Consultant to support the development of inclusive Foundational Literacy and Numeracy (FLN) learning content for children with visual impairments and low vision in Grades 1–3. The consultant will ensure that educational content is accessible, engaging, and aligned with inclusive education and accessibility standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Review educational content for accessibility and usability by children with visual impairments.
- Identify and recommend modifications to improve accessibility.
- Ensure compliance with accessibility and inclusive education guidelines.
- Adapt learning materials for children with blindness and low vision.
- Recommend tactile, auditory, and multisensory learning approaches.
- Develop guidelines for alternative text descriptions, audio support, and accessible learning resources.
- Bachelor's or Master's Degree in Special Education (Visual Impairment) OR
- Degree in Education, Rehabilitation, Psychology, or related field with specialization in visual impairment.
Experience
- Minimum 5 years of experience working with children with visual impairments.
- Experience in inclusive education and curriculum adaptation.
- Experience reviewing educational content and learning materials.
- Prior experience with FLN, primary education, NGO, CSR, or government education projects preferred.

Pay: ₹40,000.00 - ₹60,457.05 per month
