We are looking for a skilled PHP Developer with strong hands-on experience in Laravel and WordPress to join our growing team. You will be responsible for building, maintaining, and scaling web applications and CMS-based solutions for our clients and internal products.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain web applications using Laravel (REST APIs, modules, packages)
- Build and customize WordPress themes, plugins, and REST API integrations
- Write clean, well-documented, and reusable PHP code following MVC patterns
- Design and optimize relational databases (MySQL / PostgreSQL)
- Integrate third-party APIs, payment gateways, and external services
- Collaborate with frontend developers on React/Next.js or Blade-based UIs
- Perform code reviews, debugging, and performance optimization
- Manage deployments on Linux servers (Apache/Nginx), cloud platforms (AWS, DigitalOcean)
- Follow security best practices including authentication, data validation, and SQL injection prevention
Required Skills
- 2+ years of experience with PHP 8.x and Laravel
- Strong knowledge of WordPress (custom post types, hooks, WP REST API, ACF)
- Proficient in MySQL schema design and query optimization
- Familiarity with Git version control and collaborative workflows
- Understanding of HTML, CSS, JavaScript for frontend integration
- Experience with REST API design and consumption
Good to Have
- Experience with Livewire, Inertia.js, or Filament
- Exposure to Vue, React / Next.js for headless WordPress or Laravel frontends
- Knowledge of Docker, CI/CD pipelines, or cloud deployments
- Familiarity with WooCommerce, multisite WordPress setups
