Job Title: Jr. Early Interventionist

Job Summary:
The Community Jr. Early Interventionist will provide support and services to children with special needs under the age between 0-8 years, focusing on early identification and intervention for developmental delays and disabilities. This role involves working closely with families, healthcare providers, and educational institutions to ensure and provide services in the community.
Key Responsibilities:

Identify children with developmental delays through developmental screenings for all the children in the geography

Take assessments for identified children

Develop and implement individualized intervention plans according to the need analysis

Provide direct services to children through subcenter and home-based therapy in community

Capacity building for all the parents

Sensitization programs to spread awareness in the community to build a sustainable eco system for CwSN.

Anganwadi, and school enrolment for the children at the age of 3 and 6.

Guide the parents on Social Security Schemes and ensure the government benefits for CwSN.

Maintain detailed records of assessments, plans, and progress

On time Data documentation

Stay updated with best practices and current research in early childhood intervention
Accountability:

Report directly to the Master Trainer and Social worker regarding the progress, challenges, and developments within program.

Ensure alignment with organizational goals, budget management, and operational protocols for the program.

Ensure transparency, ethical conduct, and full compliance with the organization’s standards and policies.
Required Qualifications:
Education: CCRT/CCCG

Experience: Fresher/ experienced in early childhood intervention or related services
Skills and Competencies:

Bilingual abilities in Kannada and basic English knowledge

Excellent assessment and observational skills

Strong organizational and record-keeping abilities

Empathy and patience in working with children and families

Ability to develop and implement effective intervention plans

Knowledge of community resources and support services
Working Conditions:

Onsite – Primarily works in community settings, including homes, and subcenters

Work hours – 9 am to 6 pm
-
Travel expectations – It involves travel within the community.
