About the Role
We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Quality Control Executive to ensure that products, processes, and installations meet the organization's quality standards. The ideal candidate should have 1–3 years of experience in quality control and possess strong knowledge of AutoCAD, quality inspection procedures, and documentation practices. The candidate will be responsible for ensuring that all packaging products meet our rigorous quality standards and dimensional specifications. By bridging the gap between technical design and physical production, you will play a critical role in maintaining our reputation for excellence.
Key Responsibilities
Quality Control & Inspection
- Design & Specification Review: Use AutoCAD to read, interpret, and occasionally modify technical drawings and blueprints for packaging structures.
- Dimensional Inspection: Perform precise measurements of raw materials and finished goods to ensure they align with the CAD specifications.
- In-Process Quality Checks: Monitor the production line to identify defects or deviations early in the manufacturing cycle.
- Documentation: Maintain detailed reports of inspections, non-conformance reports (NCR), and quality certificates.
- Testing: Conduct physical tests (e.g., burst strength, GSM, moisture content, and joint strength) relevant to packaging materials.
- Collaboration: Work closely with the Production and Design teams to troubleshoot manufacturing issues and optimize product durability.
- Compliance: Ensure all processes adhere to ISO standards and company-specific quality protocols.
Skills & Qualifications
- Education: Graduate/Diploma in Mechanical Engineering, Packaging Technology, or a related field.
- Software Expertise: Advanced proficiency in AutoCAD (2D/3D) is mandatory.
- Experience: 1–3 years of experience in Quality Control, preferably within the packaging or manufacturing industry.
- Technical Knowledge: Familiarity with measuring instruments (Vernier calipers, Micrometers, Gauges) and quality testing equipment.
- Strong attention to detail and analytical skills.
- Communication: Strong verbal and written communication skills for reporting and inter-departmental coordination.
- Ability to work independently and within cross-functional teams.
