Job Summary:
We are looking for a detail-oriented and responsible Accounts Executive to manage daily accounting operations for a retail textiles store. The candidate will handle billing, cash transactions, purchase entries, GST records, stock-related accounting, vendor payments, and financial reporting while ensuring accuracy and compliance.
Key Responsibilities:
- Maintain daily accounts and bookkeeping entries
- Handle cash, bank, and UPI transaction records
- Prepare sales and purchase invoices
- Manage accounts payable and receivable
- Maintain GST records and assist in GST filing
- Record textile stock purchases and supplier bills
- Coordinate with store management regarding sales reports
- Prepare daily/monthly financial reports
- Monitor outstanding payments and follow up with customers/vendors
- Support audit and taxation activities
- Maintain proper accounting documents and filing systems
Qualification:
- B.Com / M.Com / MBA Finance or equivalent
- 1–3 years of accounting experience preferred
- Experience in retail or textile industry is an added advantage
Preferred Software Knowledge:
- TallyPrime
- Microsoft Excel
- Billing and inventory management software
Working Conditions :
- Full-time retail store position
- Ability to work during weekends/festival seasons if required
- Coordination with sales, billing, and warehouse teams
- Experience with Tally ERP / Tally Prime
- Basic GST and taxation knowledge
- MS Excel and computer proficiency
- Good numerical and analytical skills
- Attention to detail and accuracy
- Communication and coordination skills
Pay: ₹12,000.00 - ₹18,000.00 per month
