Job Summary
We are looking for a detail-oriented Accounts Executive to manage day-to-day accounting activities in a jewellery business. The candidate will be responsible for maintaining financial records, jewellery billing, reconciliations, GST-related activities, and supporting inventory and purchase accounting.
Key Responsibilities
- Handle daily accounting transactions and maintain accurate financial records.
- Manage sales, purchase, sales return, and purchase return entries.
- Prepare and verify invoices, bills, receipts, and payment records.
- Maintain customer and supplier ledgers.
- Handle cash, bank, and credit transactions.
- Perform regular cash and bank reconciliation.
- Maintain records related to gold, silver, diamond, and jewellery transactions.
- Coordinate with the sales, purchase, inventory, and management teams.
- Monitor receivables, payables, and outstanding payments.
- Assist with GST, TDS, and other statutory accounting requirements.
- Verify jewellery stock records and coordinate for stock reconciliation.
- Identify and resolve discrepancies in billing, payments, stock, and accounts.
- Prepare MIS reports and other financial reports for management.
- Maintain proper documentation for audits and financial records.
- Assist with monthly and yearly account closing activities.
Required Skills
- Strong knowledge of accounting principles and bookkeeping.
- Good understanding of GST and TDS.
- Proficiency in Tally / Tally Prime or other accounting software.
- Good knowledge of MS Excel.
- Strong reconciliation and ledger management skills.
- Good numerical and analytical abilities.
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
- Good communication and coordination skills.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality of financial information.
Qualification
- B.Com / M.Com / MBA Finance or equivalent qualification.
- 0–3 years of relevant experience in accounts preferred.
Preferred Experience
Experience in jewellery accounting, jewellery billing, gold/silver transactions, diamond accounting, inventory reconciliation, or retail jewellery operations will be an added advantage.
Pay: ₹13,000.00 - ₹18,000.00 per month
