We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Production Manager to lead our advanced material manufacturing operations. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of the production process, ensuring the efficient and high-quality manufacturing of our cutting-edge materials. This role requires a strong leader with a deep understanding of advanced manufacturing techniques, process optimization, quality control, and team management. The Production Manager will drive operational excellence, implement best practices, and contribute significantly to the company's growth and innovation.

- Oversee and manage daily production operations for advanced material manufacturing, ensuring adherence to production schedules and quality standards.
- Develop, implement, and monitor production plans, ensuring optimal utilization of resources, equipment, and personnel.
- Lead and mentor a team of production supervisors, technicians, and operators, fostering a culture of safety, quality, and continuous improvement.
- Implement and maintain robust quality control processes to ensure all manufactured materials meet ent specifications and industry standards.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives using methodologies such as Lean Manufacturing and Six Sigma to enhance efficiency, reduce waste, and optimize production costs.
- Manage production budgets, monitor expenditures, and identify opportunities for cost savings without compromising quality or safety.
- Ensure compliance with all relevant health, safety, and environmental regulations, maintaining a safe working environment for all employees.
- Collaborate with R&D, Engineering, and Supply Chain departments to facilitate new product introductions, process improvements, and material sourcing strategies.
- Troubleshoot production issues, identify root causes, and implement effective corrective and preventive actions.
- Monitor inventory levels of raw materials and finished goods, coordinating with supply chain to ensure material availability and minimize stockouts.
- Prepare and present regular production reports, performance metrics, and forecasts to senior management.
- Maintain and optimize specialized equipment and machinery used in advanced material production.
- Develop and implement training programs for production staff to enhance their skills and knowledge in advanced material handling and processing.
Qualification & Experience
Engineer with 7 to 10 years' experience of the particular area of expertise.
