Role Overview
We are looking for a strong and energetic Business Analyst who can play a pivotal role in requirement gathering, documentation, stakeholder coordination, UAT, and product delivery. The ideal candidate should have excellent communication and documentation skills, strong understanding of SDLC, and the ability to work closely with clients, stakeholders, product managers, developers, UI/UX designers, and QA teams.
The Business Analyst will be responsible for understanding business needs, converting them into clear functional requirements, preparing BRD/FRD documents, creating user stories, supporting development and QA teams, coordinating UAT, and ensuring that the final product output meets business expectations.
Key Responsibilities
- Gather, analyze, and document business requirements from clients, stakeholders, operations teams, and internal users.
- Conduct requirement discussion sessions, workshops, and stakeholder meetings to understand business needs clearly.
- Prepare detailed Business Requirement Documents, Functional Requirement Documents, user stories, acceptance criteria, workflow
- diagrams, and process flow documents.
- Convert business requirements into clear and actionable user stories for development teams.
- Maintain and manage requirements in tools such as JIRA and Azure DevOps.
- Work closely with Product Managers to prioritize requirements, define scope, and support sprint planning.
- Collaborate with UI/UX teams to ensure the design aligns with business requirements and user expectations.
- Coordinate with developers to clarify requirements during the development phase.
- Support QA teams by reviewing test scenarios, test cases, and ensuring complete functional coverage.
- Perform and coordinate UAT with business users, stakeholders, and clients.
- Track UAT feedback, bugs, change requests, and ensure proper closure before release.
- Manage stakeholder communication and ensure expectations are clearly aligned throughout the project lifecycle.
- Identify requirement gaps, process improvements, risks, dependencies, and impact areas.
- Support release activities by preparing release notes, user manuals, SOPs, and training documents when required.
- Ensure all requirements are properly documented, approved, and traceable throughout the project lifecycle.
- Act as a bridge between business teams, clients, product, development, QA, and implementation teams.
Required Skills and Qualifications
- Strong communication skills with the ability to communicate clearly with clients, stakeholders, and technical teams.
- Excellent documentation skills with strong attention to detail.
- Strong understanding of SDLC and software development processes.
- Hands-on experience in preparing BRD, FRD, user stories, acceptance criteria, process flows, and requirement documents.
- Experience in JIRA and Azure DevOps for requirement tracking, sprint planning, and backlog management.
- Strong capability to perform UAT, coordinate with users, collect feedback, and validate final delivery.
- Excellent client management and stakeholder management skills.
- Ability to understand business problems and translate them into functional requirements.
- Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple projects at the same time.
- Good understanding of Agile/Scrum methodology.
- Ability to coordinate effectively with cross-functional teams including Product, Development, QA, UI/UX, Operations, and Client teams.
- Strong ownership, accountability, and follow-up skills.
- Ability to identify risks, dependencies, and gaps during requirement analysis.
Preferred Skills
- Experience working in product-based or software development environments.
- Knowledge of healthcare, HR, RCM, CRM, or operational workflow-based applications will be an added advantage.
- Basic understanding of API, database, dashboards, reports, user roles, permissions, and workflow-based systems.
- Experience in preparing wireframe notes, workflow diagrams, and functional specifications.
- Ability to support product demos, client presentations, and training sessions.
- Exposure to release management, change request handling, and production support processes.
