Vexma Technologies is seeking a detail-oriented Quality Control Engineer to manage inspection, quality assurance, and process control across our additive manufacturing (3D printing) and precision engineering operations. This is an active, shop-floor position requiring close coordination with production teams to ensure all components meet strict precision and aerospace-grade quality standards.
On-Site Full-Time
- Inspection & Testing: Conduct dimensional and surface inspections on critical engineering parts using standard metrology tools.
- Process Control: Maintain rigorous documentation discipline, traceability (including powder handling), and quality workflows from raw material to finished part.
- Quality Control: Implement and enforce quality control protocols to ensure that post-processed products meet or exceed established quality standards.
Conduct inspections and tests to identify defects and deviations from specifications.
- Problem Solving: Lead root cause analysis for any quality deviations and drive continuous improvement initiatives.
- Bachelor's degree in a relevant field or equivalent work experience.
- Deep understanding of engineering drawings, GD&T, and manufacturing tolerances.
- Familiarity with both additive manufacturing (3D printing) and traditional machining/finishing processes.
- Strong inspection planning and root cause analysis capabilities.
- Analytical skills to identify areas for process improvement and implement effective solutions.
- Hands-on experience with precision measuring instruments including Vernier Calipers, Micrometers, Height Gauges, Bore Gauges, Dial Indicators, Thread/Radius Gauges, Surface Roughness Testers, and basic CMM inspection.
- Familiarity with health and safety regulations and their application in a manufacturing environment.
- Strong organizational skills to manage resources and schedules efficiently.
- Adaptability to changing production demands and a fast-paced environment.
- MS Excel & Quality/Inspection reporting tools.
- ERP/MES manufacturing workflow systems.
- CAD/SolidWorks viewers for print interpretation.
