We are looking for a dedicated Site Engineer with experience in steel structures and pre-engineered buildings (PEB). The candidate will be responsible for on-site execution, supervision, and coordination of steel fabrication and erection works, ensuring quality, safety, and timely completion of projects.
Key Responsibilities:
- Supervise erection of PEB structures, including columns, rafters, purlins, bracings, and cladding systems
- Coordinate with fabrication team, contractors, and project managers for smooth execution
- Ensure alignment, levels, bolt tightening, welding quality, and structural integrity as per drawings
- Read and interpret GA drawings, fabrication drawings, and erection drawings
- Monitor daily site progress and prepare reports
- Ensure compliance with safety standards and site protocols
- Handle site measurements, material reconciliation, and work progress tracking
- Coordinate with client/consultant for inspections and approvals
- Resolve on-site technical issues related to steel structures
Qualification:
- B.E./B.Tech in Civil (Structural) or Mechanical Engineering
- Preference for candidates with specialization or experience in steel structures / PEB
Experience:
- 2–5 years of experience in steel structure / PEB projects
Required Skills:
- Good understanding of PEB components and erection sequence
- Ability to read AutoCAD drawings
- Knowledge of bolting, welding, and alignment procedures
- Basic understanding of IS codes related to steel structures
- Strong site coordination and problem-solving skills
- Willingness to travel and stay at project sites
Preferred:
- Experience in industrial sheds, warehouses, railway or infrastructure projects
- Familiarity with fabrication processes and material handling
- Knowledge of MS Excel for reporting
Salary:
- As per industry standards (based on experience)
Pay: ₹15,000.00 - ₹25,000.00 per month
