- Welcome guests and assist in providing prompt and courteous service.
- Set up and clear tables according to hotel standards.
- Serve food and beverages efficiently and professionally.
- Ensure tables, chairs, service stations, crockery, cutlery, and glassware are clean and properly arranged.
- Take guest orders accurately and communicate them to the kitchen/bar.
- Follow proper food and beverage service procedures.
- Assist in buffet setup, replenishment, and clearing.
- Maintain cleanliness and hygiene of the restaurant and service areas.
- Handle guest requests, queries, and complaints professionally and report issues to the supervisor.
- Assist with room service, banquets, events, and other F&B operations when required.
- Ensure proper handling and storage of crockery, cutlery, glassware, and service equipment.
- Follow hotel policies, food safety standards, and hygiene procedures.
- Coordinate with the kitchen, stewarding, bar, and other departments to ensure smooth service.
- Assist with opening and closing duties of the outlet.
- Upsell food and beverage items when appropriate.
- Report breakages, equipment issues, shortages, and maintenance requirements to the supervisor.
- Maintain a professional appearance and follow grooming standards at all times.
- Minimum 10th/12th pass; hospitality/F&B qualification preferred.
- Previous hotel or restaurant experience is preferred but freshers may be considered.
- Good communication and guest-service skills.
- Basic knowledge of food and beverage service.
- Ability to work in shifts, weekends, and public holidays.
- Well-groomed, polite, energetic, and customer-focused.
- Warmly welcome and greet guests upon arrival.
- Manage guest seating according to reservations, table availability, guest preferences, and restaurant capacity.
- Handle restaurant reservations and maintain accurate reservation records.
- Escort guests to their tables and provide menus.
- Maintain an updated seating plan and coordinate table availability with the service team.
- Answer telephone calls and handle reservation enquiries professionally.
- Provide guests with information about menus, restaurant facilities, promotions, operating hours, and special events.
- Monitor guest waiting times and keep guests informed during busy periods.
- Coordinate with the Restaurant Manager, Captain, service staff, kitchen, and other departments.
- Identify and accommodate special guest requirements whenever possible.
- Maintain guest profiles and preferences where applicable.
- Handle guest feedback and complaints politely and escalate issues to the appropriate supervisor.
- Assist with VIP, group, corporate, and special-event arrangements.
- Ensure the entrance, reception area, waiting area, and host desk are clean and presentable.
- Maintain professional grooming, body language, and hospitality standards.
- Follow hotel SOPs, safety standards, and guest-service procedures.
- Assist the restaurant team with other operational duties when required.
- Minimum 12th pass; diploma/degree in Hotel Management or Hospitality preferred.
- Previous experience as a Hostess, Guest Relations Executive, Restaurant , or F&B Service Associate is an advantage.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Pleasant personality with a strong guest-service orientation.
- Good telephone etiquette and basic computer/POS knowledge.
- Ability to handle multiple tasks during busy service periods.
- Well-groomed, confident, courteous, and professional.
Pay: ₹8,651.07 - ₹20,991.32 per month
