About the Role
As a Business Development Manager, your primary responsibility is to identify new business opportunities, build strong client relationships, and drive revenue growth. You will work closely with potential customers to understand their needs, present our solutions, and convert opportunities into long-term business partnerships.
What You Will Do (Responsibilities)
- Identify and generate new business opportunities through outbound prospecting, referrals, networking, email outreach, and LinkedIn.
- Engage with potential clients to understand their business challenges and recommend suitable software solutions.
- Conduct product presentations, demonstrations, and discovery meetings with prospects.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with prospects and existing clients.
- Follow up with leads and nurture them through the sales pipeline.
- Prepare proposals, negotiate commercial terms, and assist in closing deals.
- Maintain accurate records of leads, opportunities, and customer interactions in the CRM system.
- Research industry trends, customer needs, and competitor activities to improve business development strategies.
- Collaborate with marketing and product teams to support lead generation and customer acquisition initiatives.
Who We Are Looking For (Requirements)
- Experience: 0 to 3 years of experience in business development, sales, telecalling, customer success, or related roles. Freshers with strong communication skills and a willingness to learn are encouraged to apply.
- Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written English communication skills.
- Sales Aptitude: Ability to build rapport, understand customer needs, and confidently present solutions.
- Computer Skills: Familiarity with Google Workspace, Microsoft Excel, LinkedIn, and a willingness to learn CRM software and AI tools.
- Professionalism: Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple opportunities simultaneously.
- Mindset: Self-motivated, target-oriented, proactive, and eager to grow in the SaaS industry.
Mandatory Requirements
- A personal laptop or desktop computer is mandatory.
- A reliable high-speed broadband/Wi-Fi internet connection is required.
- A quiet workspace suitable for professional client calls and virtual meetings.
- Availability to work full-time during business hours.
Language Requirements
- Mandatory: Fluency in Malayalam and English (spoken and written).
- Bonus Skills: Ability to communicate in Hindi and/or Tamil will be considered an added advantage.
- Candidates should be comfortable interacting with clients through phone calls, video meetings, email, and chat communication.
