Job Summary
We are seeking a detail-oriented and motivated Junior AutoCAD Designer to join our growing design team. In this role, you will work closely with senior engineers, architects, and project managers to translate conceptual sketches, blueprints, and field data into precise 2D and 3D technical drawings. This is an excellent opportunity for an entry-level professional to build a strong career foundation and gain hands-on project experience.
Key Responsibilities
· Prepare detailed, accurate 2D technical drawings, layouts, and manufacturing/construction schematics using AutoCAD.
· Implement revisions and updates to existing design files based on mark-up drawings (redlines) and feedback from senior engineers.
· Ensure all drawings comply with company drafting standards, layering systems, scaling requirements, and industry codes.
· Coordinate with project teams to verify spatial dimensions, material specifications, and design constraints.
· Organize, maintain, and archive the digital CAD drawing database and version control logs.
· Assist in translating rough field sketches or survey data into clean, formatted digital layouts.
Required Skills & Qualifications
· Experience: Minimum 1 year of professional drafting experience (proven internship experience will be considered).
· Education: ITI Draftsman Certification, Diploma in Civil/Mechanical/Electrical Engineering.
· Software: Strong proficiency in AutoCAD (2D is mandatory; basic 3D modeling skills are a plus).
· Technical: Solid understanding of technical drawing principles, scaling, geometric dimensioning, and reading blueprints.
· Attributes: High attention to detail, strong spatial awareness, and the ability to work under deadlines.
· Tools: Basic familiarity with Microsoft Office (Excel, Word) and PDF editing tools.
Pay: ₹20,000.00 - ₹30,000.00 per month
