Job Overview:
We are looking for a detail-oriented and analytical Cost Accountant to monitor, analyze, and control company costs while ensuring effective financial planning and profitability. The candidate will be responsible for cost analysis, budgeting, inventory costing, financial reporting, and identifying cost-saving opportunities to improve business performance and operational efficiency.
Key Responsibilities:
- Analyze production, operational, and business costs to determine cost efficiency.
- Prepare cost sheets, cost estimates, and product costing reports.
- Monitor inventory valuation and maintain cost records.
- Conduct variance analysis and identify cost differences.
- Assist in budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning activities.
- Track material, labor, overhead, and operational expenses.
- Review and monitor cost control measures across departments.
- Prepare periodic cost reports and profitability analysis.
- Coordinate with accounts, production, and management teams for cost data.
- Recommend strategies for reducing costs and improving profitability.
- Ensure compliance with accounting standards and company policies.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Commerce, Finance, Accounting, or related field.
- Cost & Management Accounting qualification (CMA) preferred.
- Prior experience in cost accounting, manufacturing, or financial analysis preferred.
Skills & Requirements:
- Strong understanding of cost accounting principles and costing methods.
- Knowledge of inventory costing, budgeting, and financial analysis.
- Proficiency in Tally, MS Excel, ERP systems, and accounting software.
- Analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Strong numerical and reporting abilities.
- Attention to detail and accuracy.
- Good communication and coordination skills.

Pay: ₹15,056.27 - ₹35,000.00 per month
