Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled and proactive MEP Engineer / Facility Planner to oversee the planning, coordination, execution, and commissioning of Mechanical, Electrical, Plumbing (MEP), Fire & Life Safety, and Building Services for our hospitality, commercial, residential, and high-rise construction projects.
The ideal candidate should have 3–7 years of relevant experience, preferably in hotel and high-rise building projects, with strong knowledge of MEP design coordination, statutory compliance, facility planning, and building operations.
Candidates holding a valid Electrical Supervisor Licence or other relevant statutory licences will be given preference.
Key Responsibilities
- Plan, coordinate, and supervise all Mechanical, Electrical, Plumbing (MEP), Fire Fighting, Fire Alarm, HVAC, ELV, STP, WTP, Lift, DG, and Utility works throughout the project lifecycle.
- Coordinate MEP services with architectural, structural, and interior teams to eliminate clashes and ensure smooth project execution.
- Review MEP drawings, shop drawings, coordinated drawings, technical submittals, and material approvals.
- Prepare and review MEP BOQs, estimates, technical specifications, and quantity verifications.
- Monitor installation quality, testing, commissioning, and handover of all MEP systems.
- Develop facility planning strategies to ensure efficient operation and long-term maintainability of building services.
- Coordinate with consultants, contractors, suppliers, statutory authorities, and utility service providers.
- Ensure compliance with National Building Code (NBC), Kerala Municipal Building Rules (KMBR), Fire & Rescue requirements, Electrical Inspectorate regulations, and other applicable standards.
- Prepare project schedules for MEP activities and monitor progress to ensure timely completion.
- Review contractor bills, work measurements, and variation claims.
- Assist procurement teams in technical evaluation and selection of MEP equipment and vendors.
- Conduct site inspections, quality audits, and resolve technical issues during construction.
- Support project commissioning, testing, snag rectification, and final handover.
- Coordinate preventive maintenance planning and facility management requirements for completed projects.
- Prepare regular progress reports and technical documentation for management.
- Strong knowledge of HVAC, Electrical Systems, Plumbing, Fire Fighting, Fire Alarm, ELV Systems, STP, WTP, Lift Systems, DG Sets, Solar Systems, and Building Management Systems (BMS).
- Experience in MEP design coordination, shop drawing review, and construction execution.
- Knowledge of BOQ preparation, estimation, quantity verification, and contractor billing.
- Experience in project planning, scheduling, procurement coordination, and commissioning.
- Familiarity with KMBR, NBC, IS Codes, Electrical Inspectorate requirements, and Fire & Safety regulations.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD, Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Office, and project scheduling software such as MS Project or Primavera.
- Ability to read and interpret architectural, structural, and MEP drawings.

Pay: ₹20,000.00 - ₹30,000.00 per month
