Job Summary
We are looking for an experienced and dynamic Operations Manager to oversee day-to-day logistics operations and ensure smooth coordination between clients, transporters, warehouses, and internal teams. The candidate should be willing to travel frequently across India for operational requirements.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage and supervise daily logistics and transportation operations.
- Coordinate with clients, vendors, transporters, warehouse teams, and internal departments.
- Plan and monitor movement of goods and ensure timely delivery.
- Handle operational issues and implement quick and effective solutions.
- Visit client locations, warehouses, and operational sites across India.
- Monitor vehicle movement, transportation schedules, and delivery status.
- Ensure proper documentation and compliance with company procedures.
- Manage and monitor operational teams to ensure efficient performance.
- Maintain strong relationships with clients, vendors, and service providers.
- Prepare operational reports and provide regular updates to management.
- Identify opportunities to improve operational efficiency and reduce costs.
Candidate Requirements
- Graduate or equivalent qualification.
- 3–4 years of relevant experience in logistics/transportation operations.
- Good understanding of logistics, transportation, and warehouse operations.
- Strong communication, coordination, negotiation, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and work under pressure.
- Willingness to travel frequently across India.
- Two-wheeler or four-wheeler with a valid driving licence is preferred.
- Good knowledge of MS Office/Google Workspace and basic reporting.
- Ability to work independently and take ownership of operational responsibilities.
