TripAgent is a fast-growing travel platform offering flight bookings, hotels, and holiday packages across
domestic and international markets. We are building a team of skilled, certified travel professionals who
can deliver accurate, seamless, and delightful booking experiences.
Role Overview
We are looking for IATA-certified Travel Consultants to manage end-to-end flight reservations, ticketing,
and post-booking servicing. You will be the backbone of our travel operations – handling everything from
fare construction and PNR management to reissues, refunds, and customer escalations – while ensuring
full compliance with IATA regulations and airline policies.
Key Responsibilities
Handle end-to-end flight bookings (domestic and international): reservations, ticketing, revalidation,
reissuance, refunds, and cancellations
- Work on GDS platforms (Amadeus / Sabre / Galileo–Travelport) for PNR creation, fare construction,
and queue management
- Advise customers on optimal routings, fare rules, baggage allowances, and airline terms and
conditions
- Process ancillary services: seat selection, meals, extra baggage, and special service requests (SSRs)
- Manage BSP reporting, ADM/ACM handling, and reconciliation with airlines
- Stay current on IATA regulations, airline circulars, fare updates, and travel advisories (visa, health,
and transit requirements)
- Resolve schedule changes, flight disruptions, and customer escalations within defined SLAs
- Coordinate with airlines, consolidators, and internal teams to ensure smooth fulfilment
- Maintain high booking accuracy and clean documentation; minimize ADMs and ticketing errors
- Support hotel, travel insurance, and holiday package bookings as required
Must-Have Qualifications
Valid IATA certification (IATA Foundation Diploma / Consultant Diploma or equivalent) –
mandatory
- 2–5 years of hands-on ticketing/reservations experience at a travel agency, TMC, OTA, or airline
- Proficiency in at least one GDS: Amadeus, Sabre, or Galileo (Travelport)
- Strong command of fare construction, fare rules, ticketing codes, and refund/reissue procedures
- Working knowledge of BSP processes and IATA resolutions
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English
- Willingness to work in rotational shifts, including weekend support
Good to Have
Proficiency in more than one GDS- Experience with corporate travel desks, loyalty/rewards travel programs, or OTAs
- Knowledge of visa documentation and international travel requirements
- Familiarity with NDC content and airline direct-connect channels
- Additional regional or foreign language skills
Education
Graduate in any discipline; a degree or diploma in Travel & Tourism is preferred
