Job Summary
We are seeking a proactive and result-oriented Placement Officer to build strong industry relationships, create employment opportunities for students, and manage the end-to-end campus placement process. The ideal candidate should possess excellent communication, networking, and organizational skills, along with the ability to guide students toward successful career outcomes.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with companies, recruiters, and industry partners.
- Identify new placement opportunities and establish strategic partnerships with employers.
- Coordinate campus recruitment drives, job fairs, career expos, and placement events.
- Schedule interviews, aptitude tests, group discussions, and recruitment assessments.
- Guide students in career planning, resume building, interview preparation, and professional etiquette.
- Conduct placement orientation sessions, employability workshops, and career counseling programs.
- Track student placement records and maintain an updated placement database.
- Collaborate with academic departments to understand students' skills and employer requirements.
- Collect employer feedback and continuously improve placement strategies.
- Achieve placement targets and ensure high student employment rates.
- Prepare periodic placement reports, analytics, and performance metrics for management.
- Stay updated with industry hiring trends, emerging job roles, and labor market requirements.
- Support internship and apprenticeship programs in collaboration with industry partners.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Management, Education, or a related field.
- 2–5 years of experience in placement, recruitment, HR, talent acquisition, or career services.
- Experience working with educational institutions is an added advantage.
