Role Summary
Were seeking a seasoned SAP ChaRM Change Request Management specialist to drive endtoend change and transport governance across SAP landscapes S4HANA ECC BW4HANA PIPO SAP HANA DB and nonABAP components The ideal candidate is handson with SAP Solution Manager 72 ChaRM Normal Urgent Admin Standard Changes understands dualtrackretrofit scenarios and navigates complex release cycles with precision Experience with SAP Cloud ALM gCTScCTS and integrations to ITSM and DevOps tooling is highly desirable
This role collaborates closely with Basis Development Security and Release Management to ensure auditready SOXcompliant and zerodefect transport execution
Key Responsibilities
Process Governance
Own the ChaRM process design and continuous improvement NormalUrgent changes release cycles approvals and quality gates
Establish and enforce transport governance naming conventions release calendars and segregation of duties SoD
Manage dual landscape Maintenance vs Project with retrofit strategy and conflict resolution SPAUSPDD
Define and maintain ChaRM projecttask lists branching status schema and change document lifecycle
Operations Execution
Administer Solution Manager 72 ChaRM setup projects task lists Business Partner setup RFCs TMS integration CTSnonABAP transports and job scheduling
Execute and monitor transports across systems DEV QA PreProd PROD ensuring sequence integrity and dependency management
Handle urgent production fixes via Urgent Changes with strict control and rapid approvals
Integrate nonABAP transports Java PIPO Portal BW4HANA and CTS scenarios coordinate with Basis for technical transport issues
Set up and maintain retrofit automation and manual processes track conflicts and deviations
Tools Integrations
Integrate ChaRM with ITSM tools ServiceNowJiraAzure DevOps and ensure tickettochange traceability
Leverage gCTS Gitenabled Change Transport System cCTS for modern DevOps patterns where applicable
Work with SAP Focused Build Solution Documentation Test Suite and SAP Cloud ALM where adopted
Enable dashboards and reporting KPIs audit logs compliance evidence via SolMan Analytics
Compliance Risk Audit
Ensure SOX ISO 27001 data privacy and audit readiness for change processes
Maintain comprehensive documentation change records transports approvals testing proofs and deployment notes
Support internalexternal audits with evidence logs and process explanations
Stakeholder Management
Partner with Delivery Basis Dev Leads Release Manager and Business Owners to plan releases and freeze windows
Provide L3 support for ChaRM issues coach L2 support run trainings and playbook reviews
Act as the subject matter expert SME in CAB Change Advisory Board meetings
