Looking for an experienced automobile professional to
head the heavy vehicle department at our DRI & Power
Plant facility in Ramgarh, Jharkhand.
QUALIFICATION & EXPERIENCE:
- B.E. / B.Tech or Diploma in Automobile or Mechanical
Engineering
- Govt. / NIT / Reputed Private College
- 3+ years in heavy vehicle or earth moving equipment
maintenance and fleet management
- Steel plant, sponge iron, mining or infrastructure
background preferred
KEY WORK:
- Own the complete captive fleet of heavy transport and
earth moving equipment
- Plan day and night shift vehicle deployment
- Preventive and breakdown maintenance to maximise uptime
- Control running costs — fuel, tyres, lubricants, spares
- Maintain trip, tonnage and hire charge records
- Statutory compliance — fitness, permits, insurance,
PUC, RTO coordination
- Supervise drivers, operators, fitters and helpers
- Manage workshop, tools and spares inventory
- Report fleet KPIs to plant management
