Position Summary
The Inventory Planner builds and maintains strong customer relationships within assigned OEM or dealer accounts in India to drive adoption and effective utilisation of OEC supply chain and inventory optimisation solutions. The role focuses on onboarding, education, and consultative support to help customers improve inventory health, increase parts availability, and maximise operational efficiency.
Key Responsibilities
- Consult with customers across OEC platforms to support inventory and supply chain solutions.
- Drive onboarding, training, and adoption of OEC products aligned with local market practices.
- Establish short-term and long-term success goals to improve utilisation and customer outcomes.
- Analyse inventory data, ordering patterns, and performance metrics to provide actionable insights.
- Coach customers using data-backed recommendations to optimise stock levels and reduce obsolescence.
- Respond promptly to customer requests via phone, email, or virtual meetings.
- Identify opportunities for additional product adoption, upgrades, or value-added services.
- Collaborate with internal teams including Sales, Field Services, and Support to ensure customer success.
- Maintain accurate records of customer interactions and activities within CRM systems.
Education
Bachelor’s degree in Business, Supply Chain, Engineering, Commerce, or a related discipline preferred. Relevant vocational training or equivalent professional experience may be considered in lieu of formal education.
Experience & Skills
- 2–4 years of experience in customer success, inventory planning, supply chain operations, or B2B account management.
- Strong analytical skills with experience interpreting data and trends.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English.
- Proficiency with CRM systems, reporting tools, and standard office applications.
- Knowledge of automotive, aftermarket, or manufacturing supply chains is an advantage.
- Additional Indian regional language skills are a plus.
Work Environment & Travel
This position operates primarily in an office-based or hybrid work environment. Occasional domestic travel (up to 10%) may be required.
