We are looking for an enthusiastic and detail-oriented Travel Consultant to join our team. Whether you are a fresh graduate with a passion for tourism or a junior professional with 6 months to two years of experience, this role is perfect for someone who loves designing dream vacations. You will be the primary point of contact for our clients, responsible for planning, quoting, and booking seamless domestic and international holiday packages.
Key Responsibilities
- Itinerary Creation: Design customized domestic and international holiday itineraries tailored to client preferences, budgets, and travel dates.
- Portal Operations: Navigate and operate various B2B travel portals and booking systems to research, compare, and secure the best rates for flights, hotels, and ground transportation.
- Client Consultation: Communicate with clients via phone, email, or chat to understand their travel needs, offer expert destination advice, and successfully convert leads into bookings.
- End-to-End Booking: Manage the complete booking lifecycle — from making initial reservations and collecting payments to issuing final tickets, hotel vouchers, and sharing pre-departure information.
- Customer Support: Handle client inquiries, booking modifications, cancellations, and any on-trip emergencies to ensure a stress-free travel experience.
- Vendor Coordination: Work closely with airlines, hotel partners, and local ground operators to ensure all arrangements are perfectly executed.
What We're Looking For
- Experience: 6 months to 2 years in travel sales, tour operations, or a similar role. (Freshers with a degree or diploma in Travel, Tourism, or Hospitality are highly encouraged to apply).
- Technical Proficiency: Hands-on experience with, travel booking portals (e.g., TBO, Expedia TAAP, MakeMyTrip B2B) and flight reservation systems.
- Destination Knowledge: A solid baseline understanding of popular domestic tourist spots and international holiday destinations.
- Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills to effectively build trust with clients and coordinate with vendors.
- Attention to Detail: High accuracy in managing travel dates, client documentation, and cost calculations.
