Job Description
NSSPL is looking for an experienced Senior Engineer – Project Purchase to manage procurement activities, vendor development, and material sourcing for refrigeration and cold storage projects.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare BOQs and analyze purchase requirements
- Float enquiries and prepare techno-commercial comparisons
- Create and release purchase orders
- Follow up with vendors to ensure timely material delivery
- Coordinate with vendors, transporters, and internal departments
- Maintain vendor records, billing, and purchase documentation
- Support project teams with material planning and procurement activities
Requirements
- Diploma / B.E. in Mechanical Engineering
- Minimum 5+ years of experience in Purchase / Procurement
- Understanding of P&ID drawings, engineering materials, and project requirements
- Knowledge of HVAC/Refrigeration systems will be an added advantage
- Proficiency in MS Office and ERP systems
- Good communication, negotiation, and coordination skills
