Job Description:
AAFT is looking for a passionate and knowledgeable Assistant Professor to join the School of Interior Designing. The role involves delivering engaging lectures, mentoring students, and contributing to the academic development of the program. The ideal candidate should have strong industry knowledge and a keen interest in guiding students in the field of interior design.
Key Responsibilities:
Conduct lectures and practical sessions in interior design and related subjects.
Guide and mentor students on academic projects and design assignments.
Assist in curriculum delivery, assessments, and student evaluations.
Support academic activities such as workshops, seminars, and industry interactions.
Stay updated with current trends, tools, and practices in interior design.
Requirements:
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Interior Design or a related field.
Prior teaching experience in a design institute will be an advantage.
Strong knowledge of design principles, materials, and interior design software.
Good communication and mentoring skills.
Preferred Skills:
Familiarity with design tools such as AutoCAD, SketchUp, or similar software.
Passion for teaching and student engagement.
