Job Summary
Hammer & Nail is looking for a Purchasing & Procurement Executive to manage sourcing, vendor coordination, and material procurement for our retail fixtures manufacturing operations. The ideal candidate should have strong negotiation skills and experience in handling materials related to interiors or manufacturing.
Key Responsibilities
- Handle end-to-end procurement of raw materials and consumables
- Identify and develop reliable vendors and suppliers
- Negotiate pricing, payment terms, and ensure cost-effective purchasing
- Create and manage Purchase Orders (POs)
- Track deliveries and ensure timely material availability
- Coordinate with production and store teams for requirements
- Monitor inventory levels and avoid shortages/excess stock
- Ensure quality standards are met for all purchased materials
- Maintain procurement records and documentation
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Commerce / Supply Chain / Engineering
- 2–6 years of experience in procurement or purchasing
- Experience in manufacturing / interior / retail fixtures industry preferred
- Knowledge of materials like plywood, laminates, hardware, metal fittings
- Strong skills in negotiation and vendor management
- Proficiency in MS Excel and ERP systems
Preferred Skills
- Good communication and coordination skills
- Ability to handle multiple vendors and deadlines
- Basic understanding of costing and budgeting
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: ₹24,756.04 - ₹69,534.17 per month
