Basic knowledge of DC & AC electrical systems.
- Ability to read SLD and layout drawings.
- Knowledge of tools: Multimeter, Clamp meter.
- Understanding of solar modules, inverters, and protection systems.
Site Preparation & Installation:
- Install solar panels on rooftop / shed / ground-mount structures.
- Assemble and fix module mounting structures (MMS).
- Ensure proper tilt angle and orientation as per design.
- Tighten fasteners with correct torque specifications.
- Follow layout drawings and string configuration.
- Site Measurement.
Electrical Wiring & Connections:
- Perform DC string wiring and connections.
- Connect modules to String Combiner Boxes (SCB).
- Lay DC & AC cables as per routing plan.
- Connect inverter, LT panel.
- Ensure proper crimping, ferruling, and cable dressing.
Earthing & Lightning Protection:
- Install module earthing and equipment earthing.
- Connect LA (Lightning Arrester) to dedicated earth pit.
Testing & Commissioning:
- Check string voltage and polarity before inverter connection.
- Perform continuity tests.
- Assist in inverter commissioning.
- Monitor generation during initial startup.
- Troubleshoot faults and rectify issues.
Maintenance & Troubleshooting:
- Regular module cleaning and visual inspection.
- Check loose connections, hotspots, and damaged cables.
- Replace faulty MC4 connectors or modules.
- Attend breakdown maintenance.
Safety Responsibilities:
- Work safely at heights (use harness & helmets).
- Team Handling.
Pay: ₹15,000.00 - ₹30,000.00 per month
