Our courses are 100% practical, agency-model based, and designed specifically for the Kerala market. We are a fast-growing EdTech brand under Tecfuge Business Solutions LLP, Kozhikode, and we're scaling aggressively toward 300 admissions per month.
About the Role
We are looking for a driven, people-first Academic Counselor to join our sales and admissions team. You will be the first point of contact for prospective students — understanding their goals, guiding them toward the right course, and converting inquiries into enrollments. This is not a passive desk job. You will be actively calling leads, following up, building relationships, and closing admissions for our Online and Offline batches.
What You'll Do
Lead Handling & Outreach
- Call and qualify fresh leads generated through Facebook, Instagram, WhatsApp, referrals, and walk-ins daily
- Conduct structured follow-ups with warm and cold leads via phone and WhatsApp
- Manage your lead pipeline in Odoo CRM — update every interaction, stage, and outcome
- Convert inquiries into confirmed admissions for Online and Offline batches
Student Counseling
- Understand each prospect's background, goals, and eligibility before recommending a course
- Clearly explain the course structure, modules, career outcomes, and pricing
- Handle objections confidently — fee concerns, time commitments, technical doubts
- Guide students through the enrollment and payment process smoothly
Batch & Admissions Coordination
- Help fill Morning, Afternoon, and Night batch slots as per the monthly batch calendar
- Coordinate with the operations team on seat availability and batch schedules
- Ensure every enrolled student receives their welcome communication and batch details
Reporting & Targets
- Update your daily activity tracker — fresh leads contacted, followups, WhatsApp outreach, and admissions closed
- Meet or exceed your monthly admission target
- weekly reviews, and performance check-ins with the team lead
What We're Looking For
Must Have
- Excellent communication skills in Malayalam and basic proficiency in English
- Strong interpersonal skills — ability to build trust quickly over phone and in person
- A genuine interest in education, e-commerce, or career guidance
- Comfortable making 30–80 calls per day and handling rejection professionally
- Basic smartphone and computer literacy
Good to Have
- Prior experience in EdTech, institute admissions, telesales, or customer-facing roles
- Familiarity with CRM tools (Odoo, Zoho, or similar)
- Experience working with lead tracking sheets or sales dashboards
Education
- Minimum:Any Degree (BA, BCom, BBA, BSc — stream does not matter)
