Overview
We are seeking an experienced Production QA & Factory Capacity Chemist to oversee quality, manufacturing readiness, and production capacity at our contract manufacturers for our Snowberry.kr division.
This role is the technical approval authority for production release. It ensures that each batch can be manufactured consistently, efficiently, and according to approved formulas, specifications, quality standards, and delivery requirements.
This position does not manage packaging-component manufacturing, printing, decoration, or supplier colour matching.
Core Responsibilities
- Review factory capacity and production schedules to limit manufacturing delays.
- Ensure production of complete quantities as per orders.
- Ensure problematic components are purchased in proper quantities to ensure full production.
- Ensure complete delivery of components and 3rd party filling manufacturers.
- Review and approve master manufacturing instructions, batch records, filling specifications, and final pack-out requirements.
- Confirm formula, batch size, filling tolerances, assembly methods, coding, and inspection requirements before production.
- Review pilot batches, scale-up activities, line trials, and process validation.
- Review in-process quality, filling accuracy, torque, sealing, crimping, capping, coding, assembly, and finished-product condition.
- Review production deviations, non-conformances, out-of-specification results, and corrective and preventive actions.
- Approve, reject, quarantine, or require rework of finished production.
- Confirm that bulk formula, packaging components, labour, equipment, and approved documentation are available before production begins.
- Track actual production output against planned capacity.
- Analyze yield, scrap, setup losses, rework, component shortages, damaged components, and production efficiency.
- Document components damaged during filling or assembly and support factory chargebacks with Production Finance.
- Escalate quality, capacity, or material risks that may affect customer delivery.
Qualifications
- Degree in Chemistry, Cosmetic Science, Chemical Engineering, Pharmaceutical Science, or a related discipline
- Five or more years of experience in cosmetic, personal-care, pharmaceutical, food, or similar manufacturing
- Experience with bulk manufacturing, filling, assembly, batch records, in-process testing, and finished-product release
- Strong understanding of GMP, deviations, CAPA, process validation, yield, scrap, and production capacity
- Experience working with overseas contract manufacturers preferred
- Strong technical documentation, investigation, and problem-solving skills

Pay: ₹300,000.00 - ₹500,000.00 per year
