Position Overview
We are seeking an experienced and highly organized Warehouse Manager to oversee our warehouse operations. The ideal candidate will lead a team of warehouse associates, ensure efficient receiving, storage, and shipping of goods, and maintain high standards for safety, accuracy, and productivity. This is a hands-on leadership role critical to optimizing inventory management and meeting customer delivery expectations.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee all daily warehouse operations, including receiving, picking, packing, shipping, and inventory control.
- Lead, mentor, and manage warehouse staff (including supervisors, forklift operators, and general laborers), providing training, performance evaluations, and scheduling.
- Implement and enforce safety protocols, ensuring compliance with Occupational Safety, Health, and Working Conditions Code, 2020 (OSH Code) standards and company policies to maintain a safe working environment.
- Optimize warehouse layout, storage systems, and workflows to maximize space utilization and operational efficiency.
- Manage inventory accuracy through regular cycle counts, audits, and reconciliation processes.
- Monitor and control warehouse costs, including labor, equipment maintenance, and supplies.
- Coordinate with procurement, logistics, transportation, and customer service teams to ensure timely order fulfillment.
- Analyze operational data and generate reports on key performance indicators (KPIs) such as on-time delivery, order accuracy, productivity, and inventory turnover.
- Identify opportunities for process improvements and implement lean warehousing practices.
- Oversee equipment maintenance and ensure proper use of material handling tools (forklifts, pallet jacks, etc.).
- Handle customer complaints or returns related to warehouse operations.
Qualifications & Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Science / Commerce / Business Administration, or a related field (preferred).
- 5+ years of progressive experience in warehouse management or distribution center operations.
- 3+ years in a leadership/supervisory role.
- Proven track record in managing high-volume warehouse environments.
- Strong knowledge of warehouse management systems (WMS) and inventory software (e.g., SAP, Oracle, Manhattan, or similar).
- Experience with lean manufacturing/warehouse principles and continuous improvement methodologies.
- Preferred: Valid forklift operator license and knowledge of material handling equipment.

Physical Requirements
- Ability to stand, walk, and lift up to 20 Kgs regularly.
- Comfortable working in a warehouse environment (may include varying temperatures).
- Willingness to work flexible hours, including occasional weekends or evenings.
Pay: ₹30,000.00 - ₹50,000.00 per month
