Job Summary:
We are seeking a reliable and technically skilled Gas Manifold Technician to manage and maintain the medical gas supply systems within our hospital premises. The ideal candidate should have a background in Operation Theatre & Anesthesia Technology (OT & AT) or a Diploma in Gas Manifold Systems, with 0–3 years of relevant experience.
Key Responsibilities:
- Operate, monitor, and maintain medical gas manifold systems including oxygen, nitrous oxide, vacuum, and compressed air.
- Ensure uninterrupted and safe delivery of gases to critical hospital areas such as ICUs, OTs, and patient wards.
- Perform routine inspections and preventive maintenance of the gas plant and manifold systems.
- Monitor cylinder pressures, changeover operations, and ensure proper documentation/log maintenance.
- Coordinate with suppliers for timely refilling and replacement of gas cylinders.
- Troubleshoot and rectify issues related to gas delivery systems.
- Follow safety protocols and hospital policies regarding gas handling and storage.
- Support biomedical and facility management teams during emergency breakdowns or audits.
Eligibility Criteria:
- Qualification: B.Sc in OT & AT / Diploma in Gas Manifold Technology
- Experience: 0 to 3 years (hospital sector preferred)

- Basic technical knowledge of gas systems
- Ability to respond to emergencies
